Steps for childbirth using Sperm Donation

Application
Please apply using the application form.
Counseling
Sessions available at cozy Tokyo cafes. 10,000 yen per session, but the first 3 clients each month can enjoy for FREE.
Donation
You can receive sperm donation on the day of your counseling or on your preferred date. Please choose between AI (Artificial Insemination) or NI (Natural Insemination).

Artificial insemination

Preparation of a needle-less syringe

The recipient prepares an syringe without needle.

Meet-up

The donor and recipient meet at a Tokyo location, such as a cafe or station.

Sperm handover

The donor provides the sperm in a container.

Payment

The recipient shall pay the donor.

Injection of sperm

The recipient self-inseminates at a private location of their choice.

Cost

  • Donation fee: 50,000yen per donation
  • Transportation fee: 2,000yen per donation

Natural insemination

Sexually transmitted disease (STD) test

The recipient undergoes a STD test at a designated clinic at least three months after their last sexual encounter.

Meet-up

The donor and recipient meet at a location in Tokyo, such as a cafe or train station.

Check in at a hotel

They’re going to check into a hotel that offers day-use rates or a Love hotel.

Shower

Both parties shower before the procedure.

Sperm donation

The donor provides the sperm to the recipient. Payment is exchanged.

What is Love Hotel?

Love hotels are short-stay hotels in Japan, often used for couples seeking privacy and unique experiences.

Cost

  • Donation fee: 50,000yen per donation
  • Transportation fee: 2,000yen per donation
  • Love Hotel fee: around 5,000 per donation
  • Sexually transmitted diseases test: around 20,000yen

STD Test Requirements

If you do not engage in sexual activity with anyone other than the donor during the sperm donation period, a second test is not necessary. HOWEVER, if you do engage in sexual activity with someone else during this period, you will need to undergo another sexually transmitted disease test 3 months after your last sexual activity.

    • Chlamydia (genital, throat)
    • Gonorrhea (genital, throat)
